We are pleased to announce the 2011 Introduction to Clinical/Translational Research Course offered by the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute to all Health Science Center junior faculty, fellows and others interested in patient-oriented research careers.
Now in its sixteenth year, the course is designed to be a highly interactive series of 11 sessions led by leading faculty in the Health Science Center and will include basic elements of study design, database design and management, health center resources, regulatory issues, and biostatistical considerations The course will also include practical, interactive small group sessions to develop an interdisciplinary protocol. We ask that clinical fellows who attend this course be relieved of all clinical duties during each three-hour session.
Enrollment is free unless this course is being taken for graduate credit. This course will be held daily, July 13 – 27, from 2:00pm – 5:00pm in the Shands Auditorium, Room 6120.
