2025 Celebration of Research keynote speaker
Nenad Sestan, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Nenad Sestan, the Harvey and Kate Cushing Professor of Neuroscience at Yale School of Medicine is a member of National Academy of Medicine and was listed in Nature’s “10 Who Mattered in Science”. He is recipient of many prestigious awards, including the Constance Lieber Prize and the Krieg Cortical Discoverer Prize. His research is focused on the molecular mechanisms that govern human brain development and evolution.

John Cowart, Ph.D.
Dr. John Cowart Jr., recipient of the National Academy of Medicine’s 2023 Catalyst Award for innovation in healthy longevity, is a University of Florida alum and the CEO and co-founder of Outlier Technology, LLC, an early-stage neuroscience start-up company based in San Diego, CA and Gainesville, FL.

Emery Neal Brown is an American statistician, computational neuroscientist, and anesthesiologist. He is the Warren M. Zapol Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and at Massachusetts General Hospital.
