Research Art & Awards Ceremony

Highlighting the community’s artistic and scientific endeavors, the research art & awards ceremony recognizes the winners of the college art competition as well as winners of the faculty research awards. The ceremony also featured a performance artist and all college art submissions.

Sponsored by the Joseph & Leila Applebaum Visiting Professorship endowment, keynote speakers, pre-eminent experts in biomeedical research external to UF, discuss innovative ,emerging research and connect with college investigators.

With approximately 500 poster submissions a year, the research poster session & reception features cutting-edge college of medicine biomedical research. Posters demonstrating excellence receive awards based on discipline and research career stage.
