15th Annual Celebration of Research Faculty Award Winners
Every year, distinguished College of Medicine faculty are nominated by their peers based on research and mentoring excellence.

The Dr. Mavis Agbandje-McKenna Distinguished Research Mentoring Award recognizes exceptional efforts by a faculty member at least 10 years into their research and/or academic career who has provided outstanding research mentoring to students, trainees, research associates and/or faculty. The Rising Star Researcher Awards are given to researchers at the Assistant Professor level to recognize exceptional research. The Outstanding Research Scientist Awards are given to researchers at the rank of Associate Professor or above in the following two categories: Basic or Translational Sciences and Clinical, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
